“Summy's Catering is without a doubt the best catering I've ever had. I would recommend them to anyone. Joe and Elsie are the sweetest couple and they will make you want to go live in their kitchen. My wife and I had them cater our wedding at The Old Silk Mill in downtown Fredericksburg. Our wedding spread included everything from pulled pork to an exquisite chocolate trifle, all at an incredibly reasonable price. We had so many people rave about the food saying it was the best catered food they'd ever had. They also presented the food beautifully for our formal event. “We booked them for a 10/31/20 wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. There was ample portions served and plenty of leftovers. Everything was fantastic. The meal was served hot and fresh and we were even given the option to have it served earlier than our 7 pm time. We got the roast beef and gravy, fried chicken, tossed salad, rolls, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes instead of dessert. The punch was fantastic as well. “Our wedding was in May with about 50 guests. The catering was extremely reasonably priced and the family that runs the business are so nice. We had compliments from everyone on how delicious the food was! The steak was juicy and tender, the chicken was flavorful and could be cut with a fork and all of the sides were so tasty!
