About Us

Summy’s Catering started in 1990, when we, Joe and Elsie Summy, started to bake bread and pies for Yoder’s Country Market in Pratts, VA. For 13 years we did this alongside our dairy business. In 2003 we sold the dairy cows and switched to beef cows as well as added a full service catering business to our bakery. Now catering has become our main business and we enjoy having our family occasionally work alongside us. We have 5 children and 5 grandchildren whom we love dearly.

We love to cook for our family as well as our family of customers and we want to give God the credit and praise for all of our accomplishments and achievements.
